Overview

TRESTOLONE E 100 (Trestolone Enanthate) is an experimental androgen/anabolic steroid (AAS) and progestogen medication which has been under development for potential use as a form of hormonal birth control for men and in androgen replacement therapy for low testosterone levels in men. TRESTOLONE E 100 is manufactured as a trestolone enanthate 100mg/ml injection containing trestolone enanthate 100mg and excipients. 

Trestolone Enanthate Mechanism of Action 

Trestolone enanthate is a prodrug of erestolone. It is an androgen and anabolic steroid, exerting its effect on the androgen receptor. However, trestolone also has effects on the progesterone receptor, which effectively inhibits the secretion of luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). These two hormones are required for the process of spermatogenesis, and in their absence, the process cannot take place. This also results in a reduction in the production of testosterone. Hence, it is used as a form of hormonal birth control for men. Its androgenic action allows it to be useful in androgen replacement therapy for deficient androgen conditions.
